Municipal Court of Pacific and Algona
The Municipal Court is a court of limited jurisdiction serving the cities of Pacific and Algona. The Municipal Court Judge is authorized by Washington State statute to preside over the following types of cases: civil and traffic infractions, criminal misdemeanors and gross misdemeanors. The Municipal Court for Pacific and Algona is a part time court. The Judge is appointed by the mayors of Pacific and Algona. Full time Municipal or District Court Judges are elected. Hearings are normally scheduled one day each week.
Courtroom proceedings are open to the public.

The Court maintains certification with the state Administrative Office of the Courts, through continuing education and training of the judge and administrative staff. The Court maintains high standards, striving to hold violators accountable while respecting the constitutional rights of all parties.
