Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Pacific at City Hall, 100 3rd Avenue SE, Pacific, Washington 98047 until 11:30 a.m. local time on March 1, 2019, for the City of Pacific Milwaukee Boulevard Minor Widening between Ellingson Road and 3
rd Avenue South.  Bids received after that date and time, even if mailed earlier, will not be accepted.  Any questions may be referred to: Jim Morgan, Public Works Manager, (253) 929-1113.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK

There will be a pre-bid conference at 4:00 p.m. on February 24, 2019 at Pacific City Hall, 100 3rd Avenue SE, Pacific, Washington.  Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.

The work to be performed will include all labor, materials, equipment, permits, agency and public notifications, disposal fees, and incidentals necessary to construct sidewalk improvements between Ellingson Road and 3rd Avenue South as shown on the project plans. The following is a partial list of the project elements required:

  • Clearing and grubbing, including tree removal;
  • Relocate existing fire hydrants;
  • Replace 2,100 feet of existing storm system;
  • Construct approximately 1,800 feet of concrete sidewalk
  • Construct 14 ADA curb ramps;
  • Replace 27 driveway approaches;
  • Pavement repair; and
  • HMA overlay.

Estimated Bid Range:                     $700,000 - $1,000,000

There will be a pre-bid conference at 3:00 p.m. on February 24, 2019 at Pacific City Hall, 100 3rd Avenue SE, Pacific, Washington.  Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.

The work to be performed will include all labor, materials, equipment, permits, agency and public notifications, disposal fees, and incidentals necessary to construct sidewalk improvements between 305 and 329 Milwaukee Boulevard SE as shown on the project plans. The following is a partial list of the project elements required:

  • Clearing and grubbing, including tree removal;
  • Relocate existing fire hydrant;
  • Construct approximately 250 feet of sidewalk and one ADA curb ramp;
  • Construct two driveway approaches; and
  • Pavement repair.

Estimated Bid Range:                     $55,000 - $65,000

PROJECT FUNDING

This project is financed through the King County Consortium Community Development Block Grant Programs with funds obtained from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The contract will be subject to regulations of the Departments of Labor and Housing and Urban Development.

Attention is called to Federal provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity, HUD Section 3 requirements, and the minimum wages as set forth in the contract documents.

Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City of Pacific at City Hall, 100 3rd Avenue SE, Pacific, Washington 98047 until 11:00 a.m. local time on February 27, 2019, for the repair of the City water reservoir in the City of Pacific located at 224 County Line Road.  Bids received after that date and time, even if mailed earlier, will not be accepted.  Any questions may be referred to: Jim Morgan, Public Works Manager, (253) 929-1113.

GENERAL SCOPE OF WORK

There will be a mandatory pre-bid conference at 3:00 p.m. on February 20, 2019 at the project site, 224 County Line Road, Pacific, Washington.  Prospective bidders are required to attend.  Bids received from bidders who do not attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting will not be accepted.

The work to be performed will include all labor, materials, equipment, permits, agency and public notifications, and incidentals necessary to repair the leaking water reservoir i located at 224 County Line Road. The following is a partial list of the activities required:

  • Prepare the area for grout injection.
  • Install ports along seam at tank wall and foundation to inject grout);
  • Inject grout at required intervals to complete a seal.
  • Clean up after installation

Estimated Bid Range:                     $65,000 - $80,000
