Stewart Road Improvement - Construction Management Services

The City of Pacific, Washington is seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified consultants to provide full Construction Management Services for the Stewart Road SE Project between Valentine Ave SE and Butte Ave SE, to include a Resident Engineer, construction inspection, quality assurance, and construction administration/documentation services.

Public Works Equipment Shed Project (PW2001)

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk for the City of Pacific, 100 – 3rd Avenue SE, Pacific, WA  98047, until 11:00 AM on January 27, 2021, for the construction of the PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT SHED PROJECT, Contract No. PW2001. No proposals will be accepted after the above-stated time. Immediately following the above-stated time, the proposals will be publicly opened and read.

This project includes the construction of a repurposed pre-engineered building at the City Public Works Facility located at 224 County Line Road SW. Elements of the project include:
• Grading of site for equipment shed,
• Construction of building foundation,
• Construction of building per modified plans, and
• Other incidentals required to construct and operational system per the project plans and specifications
The Engineer’s construction estimate for this project is $175,000-$275,000.

Public Works Site Electrical Upgrade (PW2002)

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk for the City of Pacific, 100 – 3rd Avenue SE, Pacific, WA  98047, until 11:00 AM on January 26, 2021, for the performance of the PUBLIC WORKS SITE ELECTRICAL UPGRADE, Contract No. PW2002. No proposals will be accepted after the above-stated time. Immediately following the above-stated time, the proposals will be publicly opened and read.

This project includes upgrade to electrical features at the City Public Works Facility located at 224 County Line Road SW. Elements of the project include:

•Installation of an existing generator,
•Providing and installing a new automatic transfer switch,
•Upgraded connection to the PSE power system,
•Providing and installing new panel boards,
•Installation of conduits and cables as shown on the plans,
•Other incidentals required to construct and operational system per the project plans and specifications

The Engineer’s construction estimate for this project is $100,000-$125,000.

LED Street Lights

PSE will be working on a street light conversion in Pacific. This involves replacing the existing street lights with new LED street lights. The new street lights are:
  • more energy efficient (reducing power cost to the City);
  • longer lasting (reducing outages); and
  • whiter in color of light (better night visibility).

 These replacements will occur over the next several months.
